Our Lends a Hand beneficiary for the month of August is Midtown Assistance Center (MAC).

The Midtown Assistance Center is a federally recognized non-profit organization located in the heart of Midtown, providing assistance to individuals going through temporary financial crises. They offer a range of services, such as help with rent, utilities, food, clothing, tools, and public transportation. The organization was first established in 1986 by Midtown Alliance and five Midtown congregations and is now supported by eleven congregations as well as businesses, foundations, government entities, and volunteers.
